Why Join the UCL ACS??
Goals of the ACS:
-Act as a vehicle for:
1) Social interaction between African Caribbean students
2) Debate and discussion on issues affecting Africa and the Caribbean.
3) Showcasing and celebrating the differences and similarities of the diverse peoples of Africa and the Caribbean.
4) Educate members about opportunities (e.g. when making career choices) available to African Caribbean students.
How does the ACS affect you?
- It provides you with a:
1) Avenue to meet people with similar interest and backgrounds within UCL and the entire UK ACS network. Also, meet people with different backgrounds but common historical and cultural links.
2) Forum for you to discuss topics of interest to the African Caribbean community and let your opinion be heard. Also, hear the opinions and campaigns of your colleagues.
3) Opportunity to showcase your talents whether they be in drama, poetry, art, music or elsewhere.
